I got my first bylined story published at age 8 in the “Aunt Elsie” column of the Oakland Tribune (in California) and I’ve been hooked on writing and publishing ever since. For over 30 years, I’ve earned my living as a nonfiction writer in public relations, government affairs, and marketing for providers of senior living and long-term care.
I am a communicator, highly motivated to promote programs, services, products, and stories I believe in. I create blogs, articles, videos, and audio programming about the variety of housing and care available to adults age 55+.
Through Odd Jobs Ink, I consult with providers of senior living on PR and marketing. Through Living Well Past 50, I assist individuals to determine where they or their loved ones can best live out their later years while getting the care they need. And, through my “Stories Worth Hearing” blog, I share tales of value about fascinating individuals and events.
